Freezing Peaches in Halves

While our favorite (and easiest!) way to freeze our Palisade peaches is to freeze them whole (check out our Easy Freezey Frozen Peaches recipe), freezing peaches in halves is also a great way to freeze your peaches to enjoy at a later date!

You will need:

• Cunningham Peaches
• Gallon freezer bags (generally 1 bag can hold 6 peaches)

Instructions:

• Ensure that the peaches are ripe prior to freezing
• Gently wash the peach skin
• Cut the peach in half and remove the seed
• Place the peach halves into a Gallon Ziploc freezer bag, typically 12 halves per bag
• Place into freezer
• When ready to eat a peach or make a recipe take out only the number of peaches that you will need to use that day
• You're all set to eat on a bowl of ice cream, place on the grill, or throw into a smoothie!
